Carl Bloch Exhibit at BYU

Today I had the opportunity to see the Carl Bloch exhibit at the BYU Museum of Art.  What a great exhibit to be able to see.

Mother's Day Art Show with Sandra Rast will be from 5:00pm to 8:pm on Saturday the 30th of April.

ELVA MALIN - Originals In Gallery

Elvin Malin now has a few pieces in the gallery.  For some reason my computer is being a bit uncooperative today and it won't let me add the other images so you'll just have to stop in and take a look.

We have a number of new originals in the gallery that will be traveling to Saint George in a few weeks, so stop in to see them soon.

The weather is warming up but still a little wet to be out and doing your gardening...a perfect time to come and look at art.

Children's Art SHOW - WOW

 

There is so much talent in our Art Students.  Wow..  We had our first Art Show in February and the response was wonderful.  Some of the students were offered money for their pieces but the young students would not part with their creations.  As I talked with some of my professional artist friends they could not believe an artist wouldn't sell their paintings in this economy.

But, they are old and wise, not young and adventurous.  It was so much fun to see the excitement  and creations of all of the students.
